Council Business Support Unit
The Business Support Unit‘s role is to promote and facilitate investment from new and existing companies in Kilkenny.
If you are considering locating and growing your business in Kilkenny, we are here at a local level to help you find the best location, access information on available enterprise supports and provide streamlined access to Council services, such as planning, roads, water or environmental services. The unit will act as a supportive, single point of contact for you during your investment decision or location processes, with the objective of making these as easy as possible to navigate.
The Business Support Unit has a strategic role in promoting Kilkenny as a competitive business location and ensuring that the county’s business infrastructure and supports are continually improved to maintain its competitive advantage. The Unit works with relevant stakeholders such as IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Chamber of Commerce and other bodies to achieve sustainable development for Kilkenny.
