There is a By Election taking place for the Carlow-Kilkenny constituency on May 22nd 2015 to fill the seat vacated by EU Commissioner Phil Hogan after he resigned his seat upon taking office in Brussels.

The idea for iVOTER came about after a recent election where the creative team based at the Research and Innovation Centre at St. Kieran's Campus noticed how many campaign flyers came through our door that were completely ignored. Eventually when polling day came around many voters really knew very little about many candidates.
